Detailed answer
Arcadia was built by Fincantieri at Marghera in Italy and entered service in April 2005. The builder gives a length of 285 metres and a gross tonnage of 82,505 at delivery. P&O Cruises sells it as an adults-only ship, although selected sailings between December 2026 and September 2027 are open to all ages. On board are the three-tier Palladium theatre, the Ocean Grill by Marco Pierre White, the Crow's Nest bar and the Oasis Spa.
How busy will town be?
The upcoming visits listed on this page show the passengers expected on each call and any other ships in port the same day. Town is busiest when several ships are in at once or a large ship arrives at a weekend. A ship carrying a few hundred passengers makes little difference on its own.
Can you sail on it from nearby?
Arcadia sails round trips from Southampton, including cruises to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands. P&O has announced that Arcadia will leave its fleet in 2029 and move to Holland America Line, with Cunard's Queen Anne taking its place.
