Are there any webcams in Gibraltar?
Short answer
Yes. The main public webcams are the MeteoGib weather webcam, the Government's Frontier Queue cameras at the land border and the Beaches.gi live cameras at six of Gibraltar's beaches.
Detailed answer
Gibraltar has a handful of reliable public webcams, useful for checking the weather, the cloud on the Rock, the beaches or the border before you set out. Live streams can drop out from time to time, so if one is down, try another. MeteoGib webcam (https://www.meteogib.com/weather-webcam): MeteoGib's weather webcam streams live from the World Trade Center in Gibraltar. It is the camera most people look for when checking conditions, including whether the Levanter cloud is sitting over the Rock. Frontier Queue Live (https://frontierqueue.gi/): HM Government of Gibraltar provides live cameras showing the frontier with Spain, next to the airport. The stream can lag by up to one minute, may be disconnected without notice and may not be recorded or re-streamed. Complaints about border queues go to [email protected]. Beaches.gi (https://www.beaches.gi/): live cameras with weather and beach information for Eastern Beach, Catalan Bay, Sandy Bay, Camp Bay, Little Bay and Western Beach. Each beach has its own page, and the stream quality is deliberately reduced. Airport: Gibraltar International Airport's website does not offer a webcam. For arrivals and departures, use its Live Flight Information page (https://www.gibraltarairport.gi/airlines-and-destinations/live-flight-information), which lists flights for the next seven days. The Frontier Queue cameras cover the border, which sits right next to the airport.
