Detailed answer

Celebrity Infinity was built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire in France and entered service in 2001 as Infinity, taking its current name in 2007. Celebrity gives a gross tonnage of 90,940, a length of 965 feet (294 metres) and an occupancy of 2,170; the crew is about 999. Celebrity presents itself as a premium line and the ship takes families as well as couples. Features include The Retreat suite area with its own restaurant and lounge, AquaClass staterooms with the Blu restaurant, the Tuscan Grille, the Le Petit Chef dining show and The Spa. A 2024 refit refreshed The Retreat and added Sunset Suites at the stern.

How busy will town be?

The upcoming visits listed on this page show the passengers expected on each call and any other ships in port the same day. Town is busiest when several ships are in at once or a large ship arrives at a weekend. A ship carrying a few hundred passengers makes little difference on its own.

Can you sail on it from nearby?

Yes, from Barcelona. Celebrity Infinity spends both winters in the western Mediterranean, sailing 12-night round trips from Barcelona to Madeira, the Canary Islands and Morocco from November 2026 to March 2027 and again from November 2027. In summer it sails from Piraeus for Athens and the Greek islands.
