Detailed answer
Corinthian was built in La Spezia, Italy, in 1990 and has sailed as Renaissance Four, Clelia II and Orion II. The Port of Gibraltar lists Travel Dynamics International as operator, but Travel Dynamics sold the ship to Grand Circle Cruise Line in 2014. It is now owned, operated and staffed by Overseas Adventure Travel, which sells small-ship trips to American travellers aged 50 and over. The line gives 98 passengers and 55 to 65 crew; the ship measures 4,077 gross tons and 88 metres. It is designed for groups of no more than 25 travellers with a trip leader, and has an open-seating dining room, a sky deck with a jacuzzi, balcony cabins on the Cleo Deck and e-bikes for use ashore.
How busy will town be?
The upcoming visits listed on this page show the passengers expected on each call and any other ships in port the same day. Town is busiest when several ships are in at once or a large ship arrives at a weekend. A ship carrying a few hundred passengers makes little difference on its own.
Can you sail on it from nearby?
Yes, as part of a package. Overseas Adventure Travel's Iberian Voyage runs from Lisbon to Barcelona with ten nights on board, calling at Portimao, Malaga, Gibraltar, Tangier, Cartagena and Valencia, with visits to Seville and Cordoba. Departures run through 2026 and 2027, and the trip is sold mainly from the United States with flights included. Some departures use the sister ship Clio.
