Detailed answer

Costa Fascinosa was built by Fincantieri at Marghera, near Venice, and made its maiden voyage on Sunday 6 May 2012. It has a gross tonnage of 113,321, a length of 289 metres and room for up to 3,780 passengers. Costa gives a crew of about 1,100. It is a family ship, with the Squok Club for children aged 3 to 11 and a children's pool with a water slide. Its decks take their themes from classic theatre and cinema. Costa highlights the Solemio Spa, which covers 6,000 square metres over two decks, and four pools, one with a retractable glass roof. The Archipelago restaurant serves a menu created by the chefs Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze and Ángel León.

How busy will town be?

The upcoming visits listed on this page show the passengers expected on each call and any other ships in port the same day. Town is busiest when several ships are in at once or a large ship arrives at a weekend. A ship carrying a few hundred passengers makes little difference on its own.

Can you sail on it from nearby?

Yes, in November 2026. Costa lists a ten-night round trip from Barcelona from Monday 16 November 2026 to Thursday 26 November 2026 that calls at Gibraltar, Lisbon, Cadiz and Malaga, and a 21-night crossing from Barcelona to La Romana in the Dominican Republic from Sunday 6 December 2026, calling at Malaga. Costa sells most voyages from several boarding ports. Over winter 2026 to 2027 the ship sails seven-night Caribbean cruises from the Dominican Republic and Martinique.
