How does the MOT work in Gibraltar?
Short answer
Gibraltar's MOT is the roadworthiness test, which leads to a Roadworthiness Certificate issued by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department (DVLD). Private cars and motorcycles need a test every two years once they are over four years old, while goods, self-drive and public service vehicles are tested annually. You can book online through the DVLD's MOT booking site.
