Detailed answer

Island Princess was built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire in France and made its first cruise on Saturday 12 July 2003. Princess gives a gross tonnage of 92,822, a length of 964 feet (about 294 metres), 2,210 guests in lower berths and a crew of 895. A refit in 2015 added 121 cabins. The ship has children's and teens' centres alongside The Sanctuary, an adults-only retreat. Princess highlights the Lotus Spa, the Crown Grill steakhouse, Sabatini's Italian restaurant, the poolside Movies Under the Stars screen and three pools.

How busy will town be?

The upcoming visits listed on this page show the passengers expected on each call and any other ships in port the same day. Town is busiest when several ships are in at once or a large ship arrives at a weekend. A ship carrying a few hundred passengers makes little difference on its own.

Can you sail on it from nearby?

No. No Island Princess sailings in 2026 or 2027 start or end at Malaga, Cadiz, Seville, Barcelona, Lisbon, Southampton, Valencia or Palma. After this crossing it sails from Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean and through the Panama Canal, and spends summer 2027 in Alaska.
