Mein Schiff 4 was built by Meyer Turku in Finland and entered service in 2015, after being named in Kiel on Friday 5 June 2015. The builder gives a gross tonnage of 99,526, a length of 293.2 metres and a crew of about 1,000, and TUI Cruises gives a capacity of 2,506 passengers. TUI sells the ship to German-speaking guests on a premium all-inclusive basis, with families welcome and German-speaking staff in the kids' clubs. On board are 9 restaurants and bistros and 15 bars and lounges, Diamant suites beside the glass Diamant structure, two-deck Himmel and Meer suites with roof terraces, the X-Lounge for suite guests, and family cabins for up to six.
