Detailed answer

SeaDream II was built at the Wartsila yard in Helsinki and entered service in 1985 as Sea Goddess II, taking its present name in 2001. It was stripped back and renovated in early 2022. At about 105 metres and 4,333 gross tons it is one of the smallest ships to call at Gibraltar. SeaDream describes its style as yachting rather than cruising: every stateroom faces the sea, drinks and gratuities are included, and a stern watersports marina offers kayaks, paddle boards and jet skis. Balinese Dream Beds on deck are a signature feature.

How busy will town be?

The upcoming visits listed on this page show the passengers expected on each call and any other ships in port the same day. Town is busiest when several ships are in at once or a large ship arrives at a weekend. A ship carrying a few hundred passengers makes little difference on its own.

Can you sail on it from nearby?

Yes. SeaDream lists a Malaga to Lisbon voyage from Saturday 17 October 2026, a Lisbon to Malaga voyage arriving Sunday 2 May 2027 and a Malaga to Nice voyage from Sunday 2 May 2027. Prices are quoted in US dollars.
