Detailed answer

Silver Ray was built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, and delivered to Silversea in May 2024. It is the second of Silversea's Nova-class ships. Silversea gives a gross tonnage of 54,700, room for 728 guests and a crew of 544, and the builder gives a length of 243.6 metres. Every one of the 364 suites has a veranda. Silversea sells the ship to luxury travellers who want to get closer to the places they visit. Its horizontal, glass-wrapped design lets public rooms flow into one another. On board are eight restaurants, including the Japanese Kaiseki, the S.A.L.T. culinary programme with its own kitchen, bar and chef's table, the Otium Spa and what Silversea calls the largest pool in its fleet.
