Detailed answer

Clio was built by Alstom Leroux Naval at Saint-Malo in France and entered service in 1998 as Ponant's Le Levant. It later sailed as Paul Gauguin Cruises' Tere Moana, and Grand Circle bought it in 2015 and relaunched it as Clio in 2016 after a refit. It has a gross tonnage of 3,504, a length of 100 metres, 45 outside cabins for 89 guests and a crew of 60. Grand Circle sells its small ship trips to American travellers in their later years, in groups of no more than 25 per programme director. On board are a dining room, a lounge and bar, an indoor and outdoor veranda, a sun deck with a whirlpool and a library.

How busy will town be?

The upcoming visits listed on this page show the passengers expected on each call and any other ships in port the same day. Town is busiest when several ships are in at once or a large ship arrives at a weekend. A ship carrying a few hundred passengers makes little difference on its own.

Can you sail on it from nearby?

Clio is sold as part of Grand Circle travel packages, mainly to American travellers. The Barcelona port schedule shows it overnighting in Barcelona several times in 2026, including arrivals on Friday 6 November 2026 and Saturday 5 December 2026, which may be the start or end of its Mediterranean trips. Grand Circle's own itinerary pages could not be checked, so confirm departure ports with the company.
