No, Gibraltar has no golf course because of its small size. Several highly rated courses are within about 20 to 30 minutes' drive in neighbouring Spain, including La Hacienda Links (formerly Alcaidesa), San Roque, Sotogrande and Valderrama.
Gibraltar covers under 7 square kilometres, much of it the Rock itself, so there is no room for a golf course. Golfers based in Gibraltar play across the border in the municipalities of La Línea and San Roque. The nearest is the La Hacienda Links Golf Resort, formerly Alcaidesa, which has two courses including a links course with views of the Rock and North Africa and was named best golf course in Spain at the World Golf Awards 2023. Within a short drive are San Roque Club, Real Club de Golf Sotogrande and Valderrama, a former Ryder Cup venue. You will need your passport or ID to cross the border, and a car or taxi is the most practical way to reach the courses.
